Leeds Global Industry Programme 2025–2026 How it works
The Leeds Global Industry Programme is conducted online by Practera.
After registering, you’ll be onboarded to the online platform, where you’ll be assigned a project brief and meet your client.
Then, you’ll be allocated a team of five to eight other students from the University of Leeds. Together, you’ll research and work on the project brief over two weeks (approximately 25 hours) and submit a final report to your client.
You’ll be involved with:
- goal setting
- orientation workshop
- project briefing workshop
- self-directed team meetings
- self-assessment and peer-assessment within your team
- feedback from your industry client and AI
- coaching calls.
Afterwards, you’ll receive final reflections, an e-certificate and a badge.
The program was a genuinely valuable experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally. Working on a real-world project gave me a clearer understanding of what employers look for and helped me build confidence in my skills. It wasn’t just about completing tasks, it was about learning how to adapt, communicate effectively and think critically in a team setting. The guidance and feedback I received throughout made a real difference.
