Future Leaders Experience
The Future Leaders Experience is an immersive leadership development programme offering 50 students the opportunity to go beyond the classroom, into the heart of Leeds and it’s communities to explore leadership in action.
You'll engage in thought-provoking discussions with industry leaders, gain exclusive behind-the-scenes access to top organisations, and tackle real-world leadership challenges they face. The experience will equip you with practical, hands-on experience that will shape your leadership journey.
You don't need any prior leadership experience. We're interested in your potential rather than your experience, and we're looking for students with the enthusiasm, ambition and commitment to make the most of this opportunity. If you're keen to get involved, learn new skills, grow in confidence and make a positive contribution, we'd love to hear from you.
As part of the programme, you'll join a cohort of 50 first-year undergraduate students from across the University, giving you the chance to build connections, support one another and feel part of a wider community. We hope you'll leave not only with new skills and connections, but also with the confidence to take advantage of other opportunities available during your time at university.
This programme has been developed in partnership with Common Purpose, a leadership development organisation that specialises in cross-boundary leadership. Common Purpose is a not-for-profit organisation running programmes in more than 70 cities worldwide.
