Global Leadership Forum

The University of Leeds Global Leadership Forum connects hundreds of students with a global network of leaders. You will engage with visionaries from major international brands and the unsung heroes who make change happen.

About the programme

The Global Leadership Forum is an online leadership programme.

The programme will allow you to stand up and take ownership of the leadership that will define you, your generation and the impact you will have on the world — and to demonstrate this by earning the embedded Global Leadership micro-credential.

You will be able to choose from four different masterclasses and four different leadership insight sessions, enabling you to explore key themes and issues. Hear from world-class speakers, from a refugee leader driving change in South Africa to an award-winning CEO who will help you unearth what you’re passionate about – and discover how you can make change happen in your own community.

Each session will be facilitated by Common Purpose, a leadership development organisation that specialises in cross-boundary leadership. Common Purpose is a not-for-profit organisation running programmes in more than 70 cities worldwide.

Through this unique and powerful learning journey, you will have the flexibility to explore the issues that matter most to you. From understanding the leadership needed to address UN Sustainable Development Goals to hearing from experienced leaders on how to stand out in today’s job market, the Global Leadership Forum will leave you equipped and inspired to take action.
