Whether you’re a first-year student thinking about getting some work experience, need help with placements or are looking for a graduate job, the Careers Service can help.

Our team of careers experts and student peer support assistants are available to meet both online and in person at the Careers Service in Cromer Terrace.

Pre-arrival Careers Support Portal for international students

Our pre-arrival careers support portal helps international students feel confident and prepared before arriving in Leeds. If you’re an international offer holder, you’ll receive an email from us about how to access the portal.

The portal provides expert guidance, tools to help you prepare for your career, including:

career preparation resources
current UK and global job opportunities
a guide to visas and working.

Open 9.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only).

Facing the main entrance of the students’ union, go right and walk as far as the traffic barrier, turn left onto Cromer Terrace, and you'll find us at the end on the right (the last building before Bright Beginnings Childcare Centre).
