Leeds Legacy Programme
Leeds Legacy is a leadership development programme that challenges its participants (a diverse group of 100 young people) to think about what their generation’s legacy will be in Leeds.
It is open to anyone living, working, or studying in Leeds who is aged 18 to 25.
About the programme
When you join the programme, you will work with other participants to tackle an important challenge for Leeds. You will investigate issues, collaborate, hold difficult conversations and work through ideas. You will then test, refine and present these ideas to local senior leaders.
Leeds Legacy will give you the opportunity to:
- meet a new, diverse group of young people and established leaders who care about making change happen in Leeds
- develop and practice leadership skills such as problem solving, communication and team working
- earn great experience that will benefit your CV and LinkedIn profile
- receive a Leeds Legacy certificate
- receive free, personalised coaching sessions from Know You More.
Leeds Legacy is part of Legacy, a global campaign by international leadership development organisation Common Purpose. They invest in young people across the world to create a connected generation of leaders with a clear vision of what their legacy will be.
Date
The programme will take place on 18 and 19 February 2025.
Cost
The programme is fully funded and it is free to take part thanks to generous sponsorship from Leeds City Council, RSM UK and the University of Leeds.
