Careers mentoring
As a student at Leeds, you can be mentored by a professional who has studied a similar course to you or is working in an industry you are interested in.
Your career mentor will share their expertise, knowledge and insights to support your career planning and development.
Mentoring can help you:
- develop personally and professionally
- gain industry connections
- boost your confidence when applying for opportunities
- focus your career goals and take the next steps.
You can access mentoring either via specific mentoring programmes in your school or through the Careers Service’s mentoring schemes.
