Recordings of teaching sessions
The University’s position on students making their own personal recordings of taught sessions is that personal recordings are only permitted in exceptional circumstances, such as where a student has a disability which impacts on their ability to take their own handwritten notes.
Leeds University Library is one of the major academic research libraries of the UK, attracting students and scholars from around the world to its rich and extensive collections.

The RNIB Transcription Service Leeds works with the University to provide transcription of academic material - print and inaccessible electronic source files - into large print, electronic text, braille, digital audio and tactile diagrams.
