Room booking

Students can book a room for an event either through the Leeds University Union or their school depending on the purpose of the event.

We take a partnership approach to student representation and there are several ways in which you can make your voice heard during your time at Leeds.

Study skills

Outside of your school or faculty, there are facilities across the University to help you develop your study skills or improve any spoken languages.

The library

Leeds University Library is one of the major academic research libraries of the UK, attracting students and scholars from around the world to its rich and extensive collections.

Where to go to for support

During your studies, you might need help or support with general issues, such as IT, submitting assignments or general academic guidance. 

Where to study on campus

There’s lots of places to study on the University campus. Many of these are walk-in spaces and don’t need booking, however there are some you can book.

Your academic personal tutor

Your relationship with your Academic Personal Tutor is a very important one. This academic colleague from your School will work in partnership with you, helping you to maximise your success and to ensure you feel you belong as a member of the vibrant academic community here at Leeds.
