If something goes wrong during the assessment period, know what to do, where to go and who to speak to.

If you have a question or need information you can contact the Student Information Service. They can help you if you’ve got questions about any part of the assessment process, from revision to lost property, finding a study space to appeals. They’ll help you find out what you need to know, and put you in touch with the right people if you need more specialist support or advice.

Lost property found in examination venues will be taken to the nearest sub-office.

Mitigating circumstances is the umbrella term used by the University of Leeds for the process by which students can seek mitigation for the impact on their ability to complete assessments.

What to do if you can’t access Minerva

Sometimes Minerva won’t be available, for example if we are carrying out maintenance work on the system. You can find out about any scheduled service interruptions on the Minerva blog.

Who to contact if you have an issue with your assessment

Mitigating circumstances are any personal issues that you feel affect your academic work. These issues could include illness, bereavement, family crisis or pregnancy.
