Enterprise and Innovation

Today's changing societies and economies encourage us to be more enterprising and challenge us to be more innovative. Arranged around seven dedicated sub-themes, this theme will help you understand how problems can be addressed and opportunities turned into advantages through enterprise and innovation.

Why choose discovery modules from Enterprise and Innovation?

Regardless of your subject of study, the modules in this theme will help you learn how ideas are transformed into reality and help you approach questions from a completely different perspective.

This theme is designed to develop the knowledge, skills and aptitude you will require as a future leader of change who can provide critical thinking and entrepreneurial solutions to lead innovations in a complex world. Enterprise and innovation is vitally important to a range of career paths for Leeds graduates who create and grow new startups, develop innovation in established companies, or lead change in civic society.

Enterprise and Innovation are multidisciplinary issues and this theme brings together knowledge and understanding from business, arts, humanities, engineering and social sciences, including the University's Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies. These modules are arranged into 7 sub-themes to provide a unique discovery pathway to your undergraduate studies at Leeds, which will help you to stand out to potential employers, develop new initiatives and create an impact.

If you have any questions about this Discovery Theme, you can contact the Theme Leader: Dr Richard Tunstall R.Tunstall@leeds.ac.uk
