Changes in circumstances

The funding you get now and in future, can be affected by a change in your circumstances, for example if you're repeating a year, suspending or withdrawing, coming back to university or transferring.

Degree with foundation year - how to apply for funding

Student funding regulations do not allow for standalone foundation years. Therefore, Universities need to put in place a process to ensure students who have completed a foundation year receive their full entitlement of funding.

If your student loan is delayed

You will usually receive your Student Loan at the start of your course as specified in your payment schedule from the Student Loans Company. However you must have met the requirements below in order for this to happen.

Postgraduate Loan application

Postgraduate Loans are available for students who meet the criteria set out by the Student Loans Company and are provided to help contribute towards study related costs associated with Masters and Doctoral degrees.
