Whether you undertaking a resit as an undergraduate, postgraduate or external candidate, there are processes to follow and deadlines to meet.

Results

Find out when your provisional and final results will be available and how to view them online.

Resits in August

If you fail a module, you may be able to retake it during the August Re-assessment Period.

External/Carried Module Resits

If you have any remaining resit opportunities for failed modules, you may be able to retake them as carried modules in the following session, either as an external candidate or alongside your other modules if you have progressed to the next year of study.

Marking Scales

From academic year 2018/19 all University assessments will be marked on a 0-100 scale (or a categorical marking scale aligned to a 0-100 scale).

Explanation of Award Status

If you are a finalist student, when you view your results on the Results and Resit Application page you will also see your Award status and classification.
