During your Study Abroad year
Once you know you'll be studying abroad, you'll need to arrange accommodation, insurance, visas, proof of your finances and maybe some foreign language studies.
Being accepted for Study Abroad is an exciting time but make sure you have done all the necessary preparation and planning before you go.
If you have an emergency overseas please get in touch with the University of Leeds as soon as possible.
We want you to stay safe and have a rewarding experience, wherever you are going in the world! Living abroad means adapting to a new environment, new lifestyle, new culture, as with any form of travel these things can affect your health and safety.
Academic Support for Study Abroad
Each school has a School Study Abroad Coordinator, who is your main contact for academic advice relating to your study abroad year.
Feedback about your study abroad year
The feedback questionnaire is your chance to tell us how youre getting on and pass on any tips to future students.
