Leeds Bursary

Many undergraduates who started their course after September 2012 can get the Leeds Bursary. Find out about eligibility and if you need to apply for the support.

Find out if you are eligible, how you can receive the funding and common payment problems.

How much is it worth?

The amount of Leeds Bursary (formerly called Leeds Financial Support) you receive depends on your household income and also the year you started at the University of Leeds.

Overview and eligibility

We calculate your basic eligibility for the Leeds Bursary using information already held on your student record.

Choosing your support

UK students can choose to receive the Leeds Bursary as cash, a discount against tuition fees or a discount against University accommodation.

After you are notified of your award

It's important that you're aware of the next steps in the process of getting your Leeds Bursary so that you know what to do if the money is taking too long to arrive.

Part-time Leeds Bursary

Find out how to apply for the Part-time Leeds Bursary (previously called Part-time Leeds Financial Support) and how much you might receive.

Request means-tested assessment by your awarding body
