Our Disability Services student panel is made up of disabled students from across the University who work together to improve the way that Disability Services engages with its students and applicants.

Join the student panel

We’re looking for motivated students and postgraduate researchers to join the 2026/27 student panel. It’s a great opportunity to help shape the service by providing valuable feedback.

Benefits include:

• meeting other disabled students across the University who share your commitment
• hearing from staff across the University who work in Careers, Widening Participation and IT
• helping us to improve the information we share with you
• building your public speaking, negotiation and teamwork skills
• learning about disability support from the inside – including its limitations and hurdles
• adding the experience to your CV – it demonstrates your commitment to community engagement and leadership.
• receiving a thank you voucher after each meeting you attend.

Upcoming meeting dates and locations

All panel meetings are held on Wednesdays, 12pm–1pm in Disability Services (Chemistry West). Pizza and drinks are provided. Meetings are hybrid and you can choose whether to attend online or in person.
