University of Leeds statement on harassment and sexual misconduct

At the University of Leeds, everyone in our community has the right to study and work in a supportive environment that values compassion and integrity.

We understand that harassment, sexual misconduct and other forms of violence, abuse and discrimination happen across society, and universities are not exempt. Such behaviours are not tolerated in our community.

We are committed to ensuring Leeds is an inclusive and respectful space where everyone feels safe, valued and heard. That means creating and sustaining a space where people feel safe to share their experiences without fear of judgment or repercussions. And empowering our people to access the support they need, whether that's exploring support options, making a formal report, or having someone to talk to.

You are not alone. Together, we all have a part to play in maintaining a safer, more respectful University. That means showing up - for each other, for ourselves, and for Leeds.
