Wellbeing groups and workshops
Our Wellbeing Workshops are one-off 60-minute workshops designed to help you learn more about specific mental health struggles, as well as teaching you coping strategies to manage these and improve your overall wellbeing.
There is no expectation to share anything personal or sensitive during these workshops. However, we ask that all attendees respect the privacy of those who do choose to share, and that personal information shared by other participants is not shared with individuals outside of the workshop.
Thank you for your patience while we confirm our Wellbeing workshop programme for the 2026/27 academic year.

Feel Better Faster Group
Date and time: Fridays 2 to 3pm
Location: Group Room, Student Counselling and Wellbeing, 19 Clarendon Place, Leeds, LS2 9JY.
The Feel Better Faster group is for you if you want to manage your feelings and thoughts with more ease.
You will be shown a set of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness techniques which, if practiced regularly, will help you deepen your capacity to relax, concentrate and manage what goes on inside of you.
These practices help the majority of people who suffer from insomnia, anxiety, stress, and depression to reduce their symptoms quite quickly.
You will achieve the best results if you work regularly on the techniques in between as well as during the sessions. We will provide free MP3 files to support your practice.
