Supporting your family on campus

The University of Leeds is one of the biggest campus universities in the UK and provides lots of facilities that families and parents can use.

Access around campus

Lots of the routes around campus are accessible for parents with buggies and pushchairs (or those with disabilities) and are signposted on the green and white signposts.

The University’s campus map can help you find a route around campus.

There is an accessible route that lets you get across campus without needing to go up and down steps.

You might find routes inside buildings are closed outside of the University’s main opening hours so you will need to arrange a key if you need access to the buildings.

Nappy changing

Buildings with nappy changing facilities can be found on the campus map. These include:

  • Leeds Dental Institute, Clarendon Way: Room 5.070.
  • Leeds University Union
