Research programmes
RISE Germany
The Research Internships in Science and Engineering (RISE) programme offers summer internships in Germany for undergraduate, Masters, and PhD students in biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, earth sciences, engineering, or closely related fields. Participants receive grants from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
RISE Professional
The RISE programme provides three-month summer internships for Masters and PhD students at companies and research institutions in Germany. Funded by the German Federal Office, RISE Professional offers a stipend from the host company/institution alongside the DAAD grant to help cover living expenses.

Winter schools
10–14 February 2025
This winter, the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana is hosting five online courses for PhD students, postdocs, academics, and professionals. The courses cover:
- Research and Theorising using Observation and Interviews
- Economic Psychology
- Quantitative Research with R Studio
- Introduction to Data Science with Python
- Applied Time Series Analysis and Forecasting with Stata and R

Leeds KAIST International Leadership Programme
The Leeds KAIST International Leadership Programme allows you to develop leadership and communication skills while collaborating with students from KAIST University to tackle global challenges. This opportunity is available only to postgraduate taught and undergraduate students.
