Global Leadership Forum

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

The Global Leadership Forum is a 4.5-hours online leadership programme taking place on Wednesday 27th November 2024

The programme will allow you to stand up and take ownership of the leadership that will define you, your generation and the impact you will have on the world — and to demonstrate this by earning the embedded Global Leadership micro-credential.

Each session will be facilitated by Common Purpose, a leadership development organisation that specialises in cross-boundary leadership. Common Purpose is a not-for-profit organisation running programmes in more than 70 cities worldwide.

You will have the chance to choose from 4 different masterclasses and 4 different leadership insight sessions, enabling you to explore key themes and issues with a range of expert speakers including recent Leeds graduates.

During the programme, you will engage with a variety of senior leaders and unsung heroes. These include:

  • Shino Tanikawa, Executive Director, NYC Soil and Water Conservation
  • Rhoda Phillips, Founder, Communities for Nature
  • Nicole Vanterpool, Director of Community Partnership, buildOn
  • Sandra Tusin, COO & Head of Investments, Mindstream AI

More inspiring leaders will be announced soon so please check back for further information in the near future.

The programme has 500 fully-funded places available and is open to all students, both Undergraduate and Postgraduate, including PGRs. Students across all disciplines and levels of study are eligible to register.
