Applications and selection
- 1 December 2026: Applications open on MyCareer
- End of February 2027: Applications close.
- March 2027: Interviews held.
- End of March 2027: Scholars confirmed.
- May 2027: Welcome event and research showcase.
The leadership programme
The dates of the Laidlaw Programme for 2027 to 2029 are as follows:
- June 2027: Induction, leadership and skills development residential
- June 2027: Leadership and team-building development residential
- September 2027: Reflection, leadership and skills development day
- February 2028: Cultural humility, leadership and skills development day
- May 2028: 2028 cohort programme launch and 2026 cohort celebration event
- June 2027: Leadership and skills development days
- June 2028: Leadership and skills development days
Specific dates within these months will be confirmed in due course. Attendance at the events is mandatory.
