International orientation

Our international orientation programme will help you settle into campus and the city of Leeds. Join webinars, talks, workshops, tours and social events to help you feel at home and meet new people.

International orientation talks and webinars

International orientation takes place on campus from Monday 14 to Friday 18 September.

As part of the programme, we also offer a series of pre-arrival webinars from 18 August to help you prepare for your arrival. These sessions cover key topics such as academic preparation, healthcare, banking, careers, culture, and life in Leeds.

Campus tours and city chases

Get to know your new home by taking a campus tour, Muslim faith tour or a city chase with our friendly student guides between Wednesday 9 September and Sunday 27 September.

Social events

Throughout international orientation and in the following week, there will be a range of social events to help you connect, make new friends, and settle into university life.

Welcome Week

International orientation will be followed by Welcome Week, from Monday 21 September to Sunday 27 September.

This is an additional week of school inductions, fairs, and social events for international students, where you’ll have the chance to meet all new students arriving on campus.
