Check what’s on

Find out what events are running on LUU Engage and Leeds and You, and don’t miss Global Café (every Monday in LUU Common Ground, 5.30 – 7.30pm). There’s also a friendly gathering for international students run by the Chaplaincy on Wednesdays at 5-6pm upstairs in the Emanuel Centre. For both of these events you can just turn up.

Visit the LUU building! Find out more about student societies, part-time job opportunities and how you can represent our student community. If you have any questions about student life in Leeds, visit the LUU Help&Support desk in the Student Union Foyer to speak to a trained adviser.

Explore what our campus has to offer

Visit the Leeds and You page to take a self-guided campus tour! Explore our campus and find your favourite spots to study and relax. You can also find out about the various events and activities taking place on campus and in Leeds throughout the year.

Looking for ways to practise a language? Visit the Language Zone. Ask more about their peer-to-peer initiatives and resources you can use to study independently.

Asking for help

As part of your International Orientation, you will have the support of our friendly Student Information Service, who are here to help you with processes you need to complete when you arrive, and any questions you have as you are settling in.

You can contact the team with any questions you have throughout your time in Leeds. They will be able to answer your questions or put you in touch with the right team on campus that can help you. You can call them, email them, or visit them at one of the Student Information Points on campus.

If you don’t know who to ask, ask the Student Information Service.
