Before you arrive

28 August 2019 Our online registration system opens for new undergraduates. You should do your online registration steps before you arrive in September if you're a UK student. If you're an international student, find out when and how to register once you arrive.
10 September 2019
You should receive your offer of accommodation by this date if you applied before 1 July. Make sure you accept your contract and pay your deposit within four days of receiving it.

Arriving in Leeds

12 September - 1 October 2019
Extra support for registration from our welcome team. Identity checks and collecting your student ID card will be available in the Great Hall (weekdays only).
12-27 September 2019 International Student Information Point open in the Michael Sadler Building (including weekends). International students can collect an international welcome pack, speak to the welcome team and sign up for talks and tours.
13-20 September 2019 Meet and Greet service for international students arriving at Leeds Bradford Airport or Leeds Train Station (8.30am-10pm).
16-22 September 2019
International Welcome week. Find out more in our international Your Arrival guide.
19 and 20 September 2019
International Student Orientation sessions for undergraduates, taught postgraduates, postgraduate researchers, and Language Centre students. There are different sessions depending on the course you are studying.
19, 24 and 27 September 2019 Study Abroad, Exchange and Erasmus+ Orientation sessions for Study Abroad, Exchange or Erasmus+ students.
20 September 2019 Lifelong Learning Centre welcome event for mature undergraduates (aged 21 or over at the beginning of September 2019).
21-22 September 2019
This is when most UK students will arrive. Depending on your residence, your accommodation contract will start 14-21 September. Please check your contract for the specific start date.
23-29 September 2019
Freshers’ Week. Visit the students’ union website for information on activities and events. The Student Services Centre in the Marjorie and Arnold Ziff Building will be open to help with queries about registration or paying tuition fees.
25 September 2019
Discovery Themes Fair from 11am to 4pm in the Parkinson Building.

Your first few weeks

2 October 2019 onwards
From now on, identity checks and student ID card collection will no longer be in the Great Hall but in the Student Services Centre in the Marjorie and Arnold Ziff Building.
16 October 2019
Study Abroad Fair in the Parkinson Building.
