Research Internships for masters and PhD students (RISE) Germany offers summer research internships in Germany for undergraduate, masters and PhD students studying and researching in the fields of biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, earth sciences, engineering or a closely related field. All participants receive grants from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
RISE Professional – Research Internships for masters and PhD students:
RISE Professional offers summer research internships of three months to masters and PhD students at companies and research instituions with strong relations to Germany. RISE Professional is funded by the German Federal Office and students will recieve a stipend from their host company/institutions in addition to the grant from DAAD to help cover living expenses. VU Amsterdam, Graduate Winter School: 10th – 14th January 2022
VU Winter School team are hosting 21 online one-week winter courses especially designed for Master, PhD students and professionals. Courses vary from business and economics, analytics and data, to professional and research skills, management, leadership and public service.
Participants can expect:

University of Ljubljana, Online Global School in Empirical Research Methods (GSERM): 10th – 21st January 2022
The Global School in Empirical Research Methods (GSERM) is high-quality integrated programme, teaching methodology for PhD students, postdocs, researchers from leading universities and professionals from outside academia from all around the world. Programme will help participants in mastering advanced methodological skills that will empower them to conduct cutting-edge academic research. The two courses will cover:

University of Ljubljana, Doctoral Winter School: 14th – 18th February 2022
This winter, the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, are hosting four online courses intended for PhD students, post-docs, academics and professionals from different areas of study and from all around the world. The courses will cover:
- Economic Psychology
- Quantitative Research with R Studio
- Introduction to Data Science with Python
- Applied Time Series Analysis and Forecasting with stata and R

The Leeds KAIST International Leadership Programme is your chance to develop your leadership and communication skills as you work collaboratively with students from KAIST University to create solutions to some of the world’s greatest challenges.
