Leeds to South Korea
The Leeds to South Korea Leadership Programme is your chance to develop your leadership and communication skills as you travel to South Korea to work with students from KAIST University to create solutions to some of the world’s greatest challenges. Masters Beyond Borders
Masters Beyond Borders (MBB) is a single semester study abroad opportunity for students on the International Business MSc programme. Please see the Post Graduate Study Abroad module information for more detail. If you are interested in the MBB programme please enrol on the Study Abroad Minerva Organisation and navigate through the Host University Catalogue to see which of our partners are open to MBB students.
Please see below a list of summer schools specifically for Postgraduate students or summer schools with masters courses available. You will need to apply independently and check the dates of the programmes to make sure that they do not clash with your studies. You may also be able to apply independently to some of the partner university summer schools listed on the Summer Schools page as some do accept Postgraduate students. However, please note many programmes are aimed at Undergraduate students and you will need to check the dates. Aarhus University is among the top 100 universities in the world. KU Leuven, Postgraduate Executive Summer School in Social Security
The Postgraduate Executive Summer School in Social Security offers an exciting range of academic options and is based in one of Europe’s greatest cities. University of Copenhagen, UCPH International Summer Programme
The international summer courses cover themes based on contemporary fields of research and address topics of current international trends and interests. All courses are taught in English and masters courses are available. Please see the UCPH website for more information.
University of Groningen
The University of Groningen have a range of winter and summer school courses that are suitable for postgraduates studying various Masters and PhD programmes. The summer schools are research-driven and multidisciplinary, offering a wide range of perspectives. University of Ljubljana Doctoral Summer School
The Doctoral Summer School courses are intended for PhD students, post-docs, acadmeics and professionals from different areas. They offer specialsised one-week courses that are taught by renowned international academics. For more information please see the Doctoral Summer School website.
University of Oslo
Masters courses are available as part of the International Summer School. Alongside studying courses ranging from Scandinavian Government & Politics to Energy, Environment and Social Change, students are invited to a number of social and cultural events in addition to one weekend excursion free of charge. University of Victoria
UVic Short term programmes include the Summer Graduate Business Studies (SGBS) for masters students, which shall take place online this year. Classes will be a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning. The synchronous classes will included teacher-led talks, debates, student centered break out room discussions and group presentations. Students will work in small groups to present their “pitch” for a new business idea. The asynchronous learning will include pre-recorded lectures, readings, assignments and presentation practice with international students in their group. This year, we will also include some virtual field trips for students to learn directly from some local entrepreneurial businesses. The Utrecht Summer School offers a broad selection of over 200 summer courses in various disciplines from Art & Music to Engineering & Technology, all taught in English and inluding masters courses. In addition to the study programme the programme includes city trips through the Netherlands, night canoeing through the canals of downtown Utrecht, a weekly social gathering in the form of a pub quiz or scavenger hunt, trips to famous museums and an excursion to the Dutch dikes and delta works. VU Amsterdam, Masters Courses
VU Amsterdam Summer School offers interactive small-scale courses at masters level. Join the programme for either one or two sessions in the capital of the Netherlands. The courses are designed to provide an intensive, in-depth look at a topic of study whilst engaging in discussions with a unique group of peers from all over the world.
