We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Leeds and into your programme in January 2021. To prepare you for your time with us, we’ve created Transition to Leeds.

Transition to Leeds
Transition to Leeds is a resource designed to enhance your study at Leeds by encouraging you to consider your programme of choice from different perspectives, such as global and cultural insight, employability and sustainability. Transition to Leeds includes our new welcome and induction resource, Getting Started at Leeds, to help prepare you for your studies.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Transition to Leeds is now available to all Postgraduate Taught students who have a January 2021 start and are eligible to register
HOW CAN I ACCESS TRANSITION TO LEEDS?
You will have received a welcome email from the University of Leeds to the email address you used on your application, containing your student ID number.
If you have not received the email, please check your junk mail folder in the first instance. You can contact us on email@example.com to update the personal email address on your record and request your student ID number.
If you have your student ID on hand, you can complete your IT induction including setting up your IT account, using the IT induction link below:
Once you have completed your IT induction you will need to register as soon as possible.
Transition to Leeds is our new online resource created with you in mind! You can access this through the ‘Learn’ tab in Minerva or using the link below:
Transition to Leeds resource will be provided to you in releases. Please view the high level resource release timeline below to gain an understanding of what content will be provided to you and when. This is also available to view on the Minerva site.

Please note that that you will be eligible to register from 2nd Dec 2020 and will receive funding, where applicable, from the first day of term in January 2021.
Help and Support
There’s a wide range of support and wellbeing services available to you. Whatever you’re feeling and thinking, please don’t be afraid to ask for help.
If you are worried about your finances between now and your start date in January, the Help & Support Team within Leeds University Union (LUU) will be able to provide you with support and advice. They can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org
You will be introduced to your support network during your welcome and induction, and we will provide you with more information about the support available to you in the Transition to Leeds resource.
