UniLeeds app upgrade 2019

UniLeeds is the mobile app for our students. We're giving it an upgrade to improve your experience as a user.

The updated app allows you to view your emails, and it shows a summary of your library record. You'll also be able to reorder the tiles in the app to suit you.

What else does it do?

  • View your library account
  • Receive alerts and announcements using push notifications
  • Search campus maps for buildings and locations
  • Search the staff lists for contact details
  • Find places to eat on campus

How do I upgrade?

On 3 September 2019 you will notice some changes to the branding of the app. This is being done to prepare for the full upgrade on 16 September. Everything else will still work in the same way. If you have app notifications enabled you'll get one on this day.

On 16 September 2019 the app will be relaunched. You'll see a notification in the app asking you to log out and log back in again. When you're launching the app for the first time please be connected to Wi-Fi as it downloads the campus maps and other information.

I don't already have the app - how do I get it?

Download it from the Apple app store, or the Google play store if you're on an Android device.

Troubleshooting

Please be aware that changes made to your timetable can take 12 hours to appear in the app. Changes to timetable made at short notice will be communicated in other ways. If you sign up to a new module or change module, this can take 24-48 hours to update in the app.
