Community policies

Formal complaints to the University involve the Student Complaints Procedure and the Dignity and Mutual Respect policy.

We are all responsible for ensuring Leeds is a place where everyone feels they belong. That means that everyone in our community is expected to uphold our values of collaboration, compassion, inclusivity and integrity. When that isn’t the case, you can make a formal complaint to the University.

If you want to make a formal complaint about another student or staff member, you can do so through the Student Complaints procedure.

Complaints involving sexual violence, abuse, harassment, hate crime, bullying and discrimination are made under the University’s policy on dignity and mutual respect [PDF].
