Meditation and Mindful Deep Relaxation Groups

These two groups take place in person as well as being live streamed over Zoom. They offer participants a wide variety of deep relaxation, mindfulness and meditation practices. These techniques help to develop improvements in wellbeing and self-awareness.

The meditation group offers participants experience of a large variety of relaxations, meditations and practices preparatory to meditation. Once you have been to a few sessions, you will have learnt which ones you can make best use of. The group runs every Thursday 12-1.30pm in Room 6, 2nd Floor, Leeds University Union in and out of term time. To attend in person, just come to the room and sign the register. The group is also live streamed over Zoom for people who cannot attend in person (see below information on attending online).

Mindful Deep Relaxation – Fridays 2-3pm

Due to resourcing issues we regret that this group is paused for the remainder of the academic year. However, if you would still like to access a weekly deep relaxation you can still sign up for the Meditation group using the above link. We will cover Deep Relaxation between 12.30 and 1pm every Thursday.
