Leeds150 Legacy Programme
The Leeds150 Legacy programme is a free opportunity for young people to create a lasting legacy across Leeds taking place Wednesday 2nd - Friday 4th November 2022.
Leeds is hosting a third Legacy programme this November, offering up to 100 young people aged 18-25 in Leeds an opportunity to shape its future. The Leeds150 Legacy programme is a leadership development programme delivered by Common Purpose that will challenge a diverse group of 100 young people to think about what their generation’s legacy will be.
The programmewill bring together 18-25 year-olds from across Leeds to address the challenge: “How can we act together to transform Leeds into a cleaner, greener place for all?” This is an exciting opportunity to meet new people and join a community of young leaders who care about making change happen in Leeds.
Throughout this programme, which is free to attend thanks to generous sponsorship from Leeds City Council, RSM UK and the University of Leeds, participants will work together to tackle a green challenge for Leeds. Participants will investigate issues, collaborate, hold difficult conversations and work through ideas. They will then test, refine and present these ideas to local senior leaders.
The programme takes place from 2-4 November with some digital and some in-person elements. Young people aged 18-25 can apply at: Leeds150: Apply | Leadership programmes | Common Purpose
