The Turing Scheme  Changes to your placement

Find out what to do if there are changes to your placement after you have applied for the Turing Scheme.

Remote study or work

The Turing Scheme funding doesn’t cover remote placements. If your host institution has switched to remote learning/working, please contact your activity lead and the Turing Scheme team as soon as possible so that we can advise you on the next steps. 

Placement cancellation

If your placement is cancelled, or you are no longer able to travel abroad, please contact your activity lead and the Turing team as soon as possible so that we can advise you on the next steps.  

Changes in dates or host institution

If your placement dates or host institution change, please contact your activity lead and the Turing team as soon as possible so that your details can be updated.

If your placement details change before you receive your first Turing Scheme payment, the Turing Scheme team will send you a Grant Agreement Amendment that you will need to agree to before your payment can be processed.
