Student Visa Advice
Our advisors provide free advice on immigration rules and requirements to current and prospective international students.
We can help you with the process of applying for your student visa overseas and with extending your visa once you’re in the UK; immigration advice related to working during and after studies; and advice and appeals on visa refusals.

International Student Office and Global Community Team
We run international arrival services, international orientation and wellbeing and cultural exchange activities for international students including Feeling at Home in Leeds workshops, Host visits to a British home and the Writing Back pen pal opportunity.
We also offer activities to help UK and international students to make the most of being part of our global community. You can connect with students from different backgrounds and study levels, make friends from all over the world and develop your cultural awareness and employability skills at the Global Cafe, and by taking part in the University Buddy Scheme, the Intercultural Ambassadors Programme and other Global Community activities.
