Coffee Connections

Coffee Connections is a great opportunity for students, staff and their families, spouses, or partners to build a community of friends in Leeds.

We meet roughly once a month, and welcome those that are new to Leeds, or those that have been living here for years. Student and staff spouses are welcome to come on their own or with their partners and children too. If you’d like to meet new people and find out information and ideas about how to make the most of living in Leeds, come and join us anytime between 12pm to 2pm on the following dates:

  • Thursday 23 August 2018
  • Thursday 4 October 2018
  • Thursday 25 October 2018
  • Thursday 29 November 2018

These events are held each month in the Student Common Room, Level 12, Marjorie and Arnold Ziff Building, with the exception of the event on Thursday 4 October, which will be held in colloboration with the University's Unity Welcome Lunch event in the Wilson Room, Emmanuel Centre on campus. Lunch will be served at this event from 12pm - 2pm, and there is no need to book. Everyone is welcome.

Before the event on Thursday 25 October, we will be hosting a campus tour at 11.00 for students to explore the University with their families. More information about the tour will be available on this page in September 2018.

At all of our events, tea, coffee and cake are available and children are always welcome to attend. There are also lots of toys to keep them entertained!

To find out more about events and activities for couples and families happening on campus and in the city, join our Facebook group and mailing list for regular updates.
