It takes courage to face up to your difficulties and ask someone else for help. To help you get the most from your time here, the Student Counselling Centre offers a number of free services throughout the year.
Our teams will assess your needs and recommend the best plan for you. This could be a series of counselling sessions, referral to specialists in other areas or guidance on which resources could help you manage your problems yourself.
Find out how counselling can be beneficial if you're experiencing difficulties, and how to access the free services that are available at the University.
A daily drop-in service gives you the opportunity to be seen by an on-duty counsellor who will be able to provide you with information.
