Paying fees and charges

If you're paying fees yourself, with a loan or through a sponsor, you'll find details here on the options available to pay your tuition fees, resit charges and accommodation fees.

Allowing others to contact us on your behalf

Although we usually deal directly with our students, third parties can contact us if they will be paying your tuition or accommodation fees.

Pay your tuition, accommodation and examination charges by card or bank transfer.

Late payment fees

If you are late paying your tuition fees, a £20 charge will be added to your account each month until the outstanding amount is cleared. This applies to all students, including students resitting modules externally and students on temporary and permanent leave. If you are late paying your University accommodation fees, late payment interest will be added at an APR of base rate + 3%. 

Paying for your accommodation

If you live in a University residence, you need to make arrangements to pay accommodation fees after you've accepted your accommodation contract.

Sponsored students

If you are having some or all of your fees paid by a sponsor your sponsor will need to provide a letter detailing how much they are going to pay.

Tuition fee liability

When you register on your course you become liable to pay tuition fees. If you leave before the end of your course, we calculate your fees based on your leaving date. If your account is in credit once the fees are recalculated, refunds will be made to the account from which the original payment was made.

You need to make arrangements to pay your tuition fees before the start of the academic year or you won't be able to register.
