International orientation talks and webinars
International orientation takes place on campus from Monday 14 to Friday 18 September.
As part of the programme, we also offer a series of pre-arrival webinars from 18 August to help you prepare for your arrival. These sessions cover key topics such as academic preparation, healthcare, banking, careers, culture, and life in Leeds.

Campus tours and city chases
Get to know your new home by taking a campus tour, Muslim faith tour or a city chase with our friendly student guides between Wednesday 9 September and Sunday 27 September.
Social events
Starting university is an exciting journey, and you won't be doing it alone.
Throughout International Orientation and the following weeks, you'll find a variety of social events designed to help you meet new people, expand your network, and feel part of the Leeds community.
Welcome Week
International orientation will be followed by Welcome Week, from Monday 21 September to Sunday 27 September.
During this exciting week, you’ll take part in your School induction and receive important information about your course, so be sure to keep checking your emails for details.
You’ll also have the chance to join more social events, activities, and take part in campus experiences, making it the perfect opportunity to meet even more fellow students, discover everything university life has to offer, and settle into Leeds with confidence.
Welcome Hub
Visit the Welcome Hub in the Parkinson Building. Whether you need support setting up University Wi‑Fi, completing your registration, collecting your student ID card, or finding your way around campus, the friendly Student Information Service (SIS) team is there to help.
You can also get help at any of the University’s Student Information points across campus.
