Buddy Scheme How to apply
You can apply to join the Buddy Scheme at any point in the academic year.
Apply for the Buddy Scheme
When completing your application, you’ll be asked for:
- your University of Leeds email address
- your student ID number
- a few questions about yourself and your interests.
After you apply
We’ll use the information you’ve submitted to match you with another student who has similar interests and is at the same level of study as you.
It can take up to a week to find you a match. Once we do, we’ll email you with your buddy’s details.
The email we send you will:
- Come from sumac@sumacmentoring.co.uk.
- Have “Meet your buddy” in the subject line.
- Contain the contact details of your match and some documents with information and ideas on activities that you can do together.
It’s then up to you to get in touch with your buddy and start connecting.
