Assessment timetables
The University will hold assessments across a number of periods during the 2024/2025 academic year.
Assessments can be held on any day within these periods, including weekends and bank holidays, so please make sure that you're available for the full period.
Your school may set other assessments during the academic year – they’ll let you know about these.
Your individual student timetable will be available on Minerva from the following publication dates.

January assessment period (13– 24 January 2025)
- 15 November 2024 – draft assessment timetable
- 29 November 2024 – assessment timetable (without venues)
- 13 December 2024 – assessment timetable (with venues)
May/June assessment period (19 May–6 June 2025)
- 14 March 2025 – draft assessment timetable
- 28 March 2025 – assessment timetable (without venues)
- 25 April 2025 – assessment timetable (with venues)
August re-assessment period (12–22 August 2025)
- 28 July 2025 – assessment timetable (with venues)

Location timetables won’t be available for all assessments due to the majority taking place online. See the online assessments page if you have any queries about online assessment timetables.
