Grow your skills with MySkills

MySkills is an online platform that helps you recognise the skills you're gaining through your studies, work, volunteering and everyday experiences.

You develop valuable skills every day, often without realising it. These skills support your academic success, personal growth and future career.

MySkills will help you to:

  • recognise your strengths
  • identify skills you'd like to develop
  • track your progress over time
  • build confidence for applications and interviews.

  • When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to complete the Skills Assessment. This will help you reflect on your progress across 30 skills in six areas.
  • The assessment should take 20-30 minutes to complete. You can save your progress and return later if needed.
  • When you complete your assessment, review your assessment results in your skills profile.
  • Pin the skills you want to develop to the top of your profile.

3. Develop your skills

  • Navigate to ‘pathways’, choose a skill and select ‘start’ to explore activities and resources to help you develop in that area.
  • Complete each activity at your own pace. You can save your progress and return later.

4. Track your skills

  • Use Skills Statements to capture examples, reflections and evidence of your development.
  • Save, revisit or export them when you need them.
  • Retake the skills assessment whenever you want to track your progress in each area.
