Would you like to work with the Student Welcome Team?

We are seeking a University of Leeds undergraduate student to join us for a 2025-26 placement year in the Student Welcome Team!   

Jade will be returning to final year studies and handing over the baton to our next Student Welcome Intern who will work with Lucy, Georgina and Jenny to deliver year-round welcome activities for our new and returning students.

  • Application deadline 23:59 Monday 19 May.
  • Interviews planned for week commencing 9 June.

Key campaigns will include Autumn Welcome, Winter Break, Fresh Start Festival, Spring Break, Summer in Leeds and more. We work closely with Leeds University Union, University of Leeds Plus Programme, Lifelong Learning Centre, University of Leeds, University of Leeds Sustainability Service and many other partners to deliver engaging and inclusive activities.

Please note that this role is only open to penultimate year undergraduate students at the University of Leeds who are seeking a Year in Industry or Placement Year as part of their degree.
