Where to look for support if you are experiencing eating difficulties.

Eating difficulties can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, culture, body size or background.

You might be struggling with food, eating, exercise, body image, or finding that thoughts about weight and appearance are taking up a lot of your time and energy.

Whether your concerns feel mild or more significant, support is available. Recovery is possible, and many students find it helpful to access information and support early.

Local support services

If concerns about eating, food, exercise, weight or body image are affecting your wellbeing or studies, consider speaking with your doctor (GP). You do not need a diagnosis to seek support, and support is available regardless of where you are in your recovery journey.
