Lorna de-Fenzi is a Harassment and Misconduct Advisor in the Harassment and Misconduct team.

After traveling and living overseas for several years, she started her career in the field of sexual violence support in 2016, initially volunteering at a Rape Crisis Centre and going on to become a qualified Independent Sexual Violence Advocate for five years.

Before joining the University of Leeds in 2022, Lorna also worked at a different higher education institution as a Sexual Violence Liaison Officer.

Lorna has focused her career on ensuring survivors have access to information and support to empower them to make informed choices.

Student/survivors’ voices are incredibly important to her practice and she believes opportunities to think collaboratively about ways to offer the most effective service are key. 

Lorna has a background in youth work. She is interested in critical thinking, reflective practice, and striving to create empowering, inclusive, safe and accessible spaces for everyone.
