Disability Services offers specialist support for disabled students, liaison with academic departments, sign language interpreting and alternative examination arrangements, extended library loans, the loan of equipment and adaptations to University accommodation. We can also advise you on sources of funding and help you fill in the forms.

Located at 19-21 Clarendon Place, the Student Counselling and Wellbeing Service provides counselling help to students who are experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties. It also aims to promote emotional wellbeing by offering a variety of activities designed to enhance students' coping skills during potentially stressful situations, with an increasing emphasis on using preventative measures.

Languages for All

Experiences and opportunities

Languages for All offers students the opportunity to learn a language alongside their degree. It provides language Discovery modules in a number of languages and at various levels.

Our team of immigration experts provides free advice on immigration law and requirements to current and prospective international students. We can assist you with the process of applying for entry clearance and extending your visa; immigration advice related to working during and after studies; and advice and appeals on visa refusals.Opening hours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday

The Students into Schools programme operates across West Yorkshire to help raise the aspirations and attainment of young people, and to give students the opportunity to develop skills in an educational setting. The team runs a range of projects that help students discover whether teaching is the career for them, and offer support and training to ensure that placements are enjoyable and safe. Student Counselling Services

Located at 4 Lifton Place, the mental Health Advisors are part of the Student Counselling and Wellbeing Service. If you are experiencing a mental health difficulty, the Mental Health Team can provide a range of free, confidential support appropriate to your personal and academic needs.
