This service operates 24-hours a day, every day of the year. They offer crime prevention advice, patrol the campus, investigate crimes, and respond to alarms and emergencies. Contact them for information, advice or to report a crime.
The Universities Chaplaincy is made up of a team of chaplains from a number of church backgrounds, some of whom are ordained ministers. Our chaplains are experienced at listening and offering support, guidance and accompaniment to staff and students of the two universities in Leeds (those of all faiths or no faith).
Responsible for representing students on all academic issues locally and nationally, making sure students are satisfied with the quality of education the University of Leeds provides.
Disability Services offers specialist support for disabled students, liaison with academic departments, sign language interpreting and alternative examination arrangements, extended library loans, the loan of equipment and adaptations to University accommodation. We can also advise you on sources of funding and help you fill in the forms.
Located at 4 Lifton Place, the mental Health Advisors are part of the Student Counselling and Wellbeing Service. If you are experiencing a mental health difficulty, the Mental Health Team can provide a range of free, confidential support appropriate to your personal and academic needs.
Located at 19-21 Clarendon Place, the Student Counselling and Wellbeing Service provides counselling help to students who are experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties. It also aims to promote emotional wellbeing by offering a variety of activities designed to enhance students' coping skills during potentially stressful situations, with an increasing emphasis on using preventative measures.
