Study Abroad Guides and Documents
Guides, checklists, forms and information you will need before and during your study abroad year.
Before setting off on your study abroad, make sure you've returned the forms you need to and have read through the ‘Get Ready to Go’ information provided.
Risk Awareness Form
All students are required to complete and return a Risk Awareness Form (RAF). This form must be approved by the university before you can depart on your year abroad. You can find more information and the Risk Awareness Form template on the ‘Risk Awareness Process’ section of the Study Abroad Minerva Organisation. Please read through the Travel Policy, the guidance notes and the example RAF before you complete your own RAF.
Arrival Documentation
All students must provide evidence of their arrival in their host country. If studying face-to-face, students should have the below Certificate of Arrival signed by a member of staff at their host university. If studying remotely in the host country, students can instead provide alternative evidence, eg. boarding pass. Arrival documentation should be submitted via the online form that will be sent to you after your Risk Awareness Form is approved.
