The Report+Support team were the difference for me, between attending university, and not doing so. I am relieved that this safe and supportive space, along with dedicated professional people who 'get it', exists. I would highly recommend any prospective, or current students to get in touch with the team if your access to university education is impeded by any form of harassment or discrimination. You will not only be believed and validated, but given practical and tailored support. I hope the University continues to recognise the barrier that harassment and discrimination is for many prospective and current students, and to continue to not just recognise these barriers, but to act to challenge them by continuing to fund this team, to train its staff, and expand the team as required, so that education is accessible for anyone who has experienced any form of harassment or discrimination.
